About the event
The celebrations begin in the morning at 7:30am with the Upanayana, where the groom adorns the sacred thread. This is followed by the lively Kashi Yatra, the traditional ritual in which the groom sets out for Kashi only to be lovingly stopped by the bride’s father. The wedding rituals take place from 10:30am to 12:30pm, culminating in a joyous traditional South Indian lunch to mark the union.
